Who remembers this fat orange cat??

Seeing Garfield really takes me back to the carefree days of my childhood.  I remember reading the comic strip in my local paper when I had barely learned to read, and watching the TV show Garfield and Friends on CBS for years - the Halloween episode was always one of my favorites.

Yup, that's the one.  Candy, candy, candy, candy...

Steady yourself Kristen.

Now I can share this hilarious kitty with my kids, because Garfield is back in The Garfield Show:  A Purr-Fect Life on DVD from Gaiam Vivendi.

This 66 minute DVD contains a collection of 6 episodes full of Garfield's favorites:  lasagna, Odie, Jon Arbuckle, and his favorite bear.  I sat down with my girls and watched the DVD over the weekend; I think our favorite episode was the one involving a mouse exterminator - I don't want to give away too many details!!  Even Owen enjoyed it - it wasn't a girlie girl cartoon so he could relate ;)  Truly a great DVD that the whole family can enjoy!

Morgan watching Garfield - she kept saying "Kitty says MEOW"

This DVD was released last week, just in time for your holiday shopping parents!!  This would make a perfect holiday gift for your kids - and in the spirit of giving, I'm giving you the chance to win your own copy right now!!

Follow the directions in the Rafflecopter below.  Open to US residents only.

Good luck!

QOTD:  Did you watch The Garfield Show as a kid?  What was your favorite episode??

  1. I don't remember watching Garfield as a kid. I do remember reading the comics in the Sunday paper though. Looks cute. Thanks for the chance to win!
