Garden Therapy Review and a GIVEAWAY

Any of you have a nervous habit??  I will be the first to share - my nervous habit is picking at dry skin around my fingernails.  True story.  You should see my poor fingers after anxiously checking the Disney Parks blog all day yesterday trying to get into the runDisney meet-up in two weeks at Disneyland!!  (I didn't get in by the way, still gonna have an awesome time!!  Ok, back on track now...) I have picked at the skin around my nails for YEARS and the only thing I have found that keeps me from doing it is keeping the skin on my hands and around my nails moisturized.  Being in healthcare, this is a trying task as I am constantly washing my hands.  I keep lotion at my desk but inevitably when I wash my hands next they dry out again, and the vicious cycle starts over.  When my friend Kristen over at Garden Therapy recommended I try her Tropical Paradise Hand and Body lotion, I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try.

Garden Therapy is your source for affordable, natural products for yourself, your pets, and your home. They believe in helping you look and feel your best, as well as take care of your home and your pets, with the best nature has to offer.  All of their products are handmade in small batches with the freshest natural elements available.  Most products are vegan-friendly and all products come packaged in recycled/recyclable containers.  They do not use any petrochemicals or artificial dyes or fragrances and all of their products are biodegradable and septic tank safe.  All ingredients are listed right on the package - no chemicals that you can't pronounce - you know exactly what you are getting.  They are safe for your loved ones and for the environment, and they use local ingredients whenever possible.  You all know by now I'm a big fan of things that are natural so this stuff almost sounded too good to be true!!

When I got my bottle of Tropical Paradise hand and body lotion the first thing I had to do was open it up and the a whiff - and DANG this stuff smells so good!!  After my typical hand washing routine at work I pulled out my tube and squeezed about a half a dime-size into my hand.  The first thing I noticed was that it did not feel greasy at all, and rubbed in relatively quickly, leaving my hands extremely soft.  And it did not take a large amount like you need with other lotions - a little goes a long way.  But the true test came after the next time I washed my hands.  Kristen told me it would last through at least one hand washing and you know what??  SHE WAS RIGHT!  I typically feel my skin drying up pretty quickly after washing my hands, especially at work,  but the lotion was still working its magic making my hands still feel soft and moisturized.  Amazing folks, it really is!!  And it smells heavenly, very light and fruity but not overpowering or perfumey (yes, I made that up) - almost like a piña colada, with hints of coconut and pineapple.

And it gets better - did you know that this bottle costs only $4???!!!  You can't buy decent lotion at Target for that price.  And that's because Garden Therapy searches for the best available prices on their ingredients so that they can pass the savings on to us!!  Thanks Garden Therapy for sharing the love!!

Not only does Garden Therapy offer this excellent hand and body lotion, but they also carry soaps, bath bombs, bath salts and oils, body scrubs, cuticle and lip balms, shaving soap, facials, toners, mineral makeup, shampoo, candles, laundry and dishwasher detergent, bug spray, and much, much more!!  And yes my runner friends, they even have an anti-chaffing balm in stick form!  Head on over to their Etsy shop and check out all they have to offer, and tell them I sent you!!!

And now we get to the good stuff :)

  1. The lotions sound great. I get super dry hands here in the winter in Central New York.

  2. The Vanilla Mint bath bombs sound so relaxing and amazing! With 4 kiddos running around, I don't get a lot of time to relax. These would be amazing to just soak in the tub and melt all the stress away!!!

    1. Amen Leslie!!! You deserve some "you" time more than anyone!!! :)
