Dumbo Training: Week 6

We have been very busy this week getting ready to go on vacation but Dumbo training must be done!!

Sing with me now - "I'm almost there, almost there..."

Dumbo Double Dare Training:  Week 6

Tuesday:  45 minute run

Wednesday:  4x800 speed training 

Thursday:  45 minute run

Saturday:  6.5 miles with 1 Magic Mile

I've been averaging around a 10:30 minute/mile pace here lately so I'm hoping to pull off a 10:15 magic mile on Saturday.  Now that I am increasing my miles I will be incorporating the run/walk ratio and I plan to start with a 3:1 this Saturday.  I am really hoping to finish in less than 70 minutes!

**And for my public service announcement of the day, registration for Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend begins NEXT TUESDAY, June 11th!  UNLESS, you happen to be a lucky annual passholder or DVC member - in which case, you can register at noon TODAY!  Good luck to everyone wanting to get a piece of this runDisney pie!!!**
