Dumbo Training: Week 4

Ah, week 4!  We are officially 22% of the way into training for the Dumbo Double Dare!  This week our countdown crept down from triple to double digits, adding to the excitement!

Dumbo Double Dare Training:  Week 4

Tuesday:  45 minutes

Wednesday:  4x800 speed training


Saturday:  5 miles

I have been doing my cross training and other strength training also; I will fill you in on that next Friday of course!  It's just hard to believe this race is getting that much closer!  Disneyland, here I come!

QOTD:  Anyone racing this weekend??  Zoom Through the Zoo is my "holiday weekend" race; I've never done this one so watch out for a recap next week!!

  1. Just found your blog. I sure wish I would have been in town last night but got back to the airport at 7 so I couldn't do that one. ; ( Ill be at the harbor Town 5k though!

    1. Welcome welcome! I am thinking about Harbor Town, I didn't sign up for the series because I will be out of town for one of them so I'm still on the fence about some of them but peer pressure might get the best of me :)

  2. I didn't realize you were doing the Dumbo Double Dare! That'll be so much fun. With the announcement of the Princess 10k Half Marathon duo in February my interest in running that again was reignited.

    1. Yes, I am so excited!! I am REALLY excited about the new challenge for Princess weekend; I am going to try to get in, I just hope I can before it fills up!!
