Weekly Workout Recap

I've been following Caroline at Simply Smithwick for awhile now and saw this post from her this morning - it just so happens I'm a new Meghan follower over at Little Girl In The Big World - small world, huh?  I'd been trying to decide what to blog on today and love the idea of linking up my weekly workout recap to hold myself more accountable.  Plus I just love the idea of making new blogger friends :)  So, I'm linking up today to provide you with my weekly workout recap!
I am still new to Daily Mile but here's the summary of my training last week - I'm hoping I can figure out how to use their tools more to my advantage!  (Are you on Daily Mile?  Add me as a friend!)

Sunday:  8 mile long run with the BIL (last long run before the Germantown Half!) - easy 11:35 min/mile pace

Monday:  30 minute elliptical work-out incorporating resistance

Tuesday:  40 minute treadmill run - 11:14 min/mile pace

Wednesday:  30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels video - level 2 (holy cow!!)

Thursday:  40 minute treadmill run - 11:29 min/mile pace

Friday:  Rest

Saturday:  8x800 speed training - 10:45 min/mile pace for the intervals

Sunday:  I had intended to revisit Jillian's punishment from Wednesday but time slipped away from me so it was an unintentional rest day
