30 Weeks

Wow - we are less than 10 weeks away from meeting our beautiful baby girl!!!  I have reached that point where I'd like to put the world on hold for just a few days so I can get a few things done - while Samantha is all settled in her big girl room, the nursery is nowhere NEAR ready for Miss Morgan to come home, so - that's next up on my to do list!  I have a 5 day weekend coming up this weekend and Owen will be home with me for 4 of those days, so I'm hoping we can crank this thing out and get it all finished by next week.

And without further adieu, here is my 30 week update!

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  24.5lb (And no, I'm not ashamed to admit to this on the internet for all the world to see)

Maternity Clothes:  Yes, and I'm hoping we can make it another 10 weeks withouth having to buy bigger ones!

Gender:  Another beautiful baby girl!!!  Miss Morgan Elizabeth

Doesn't she look JUST like Samantha???

Movement:   Yes, and loving every single one!

Sleep:  Striving for more of it; I know it will be a precious commodity once Morgan gets here!  Owen and I made a pact the other night to be in bed each night from here on out at 10:30; last night was our first night and I only woke up once around 1am for a potty break, so I do feel much more rested today.

What I Miss:  Being able to bend over and pick things up with ease...

Symptoms:  My feet are getting bigger by the day.  I am really not used to this because I didn't swell with Samantha until AFTER she was born.  But my doctor looked yesterday and said I wasn't that bad - yet.  I am also carrying Tums with me everywhere because it seems no matter what I eat, I'm gonna get heartburn.  There's just no room for food in here with an almost 4lb baby growing!

Best Moment(s) the past two weeks:  Our 4D ultrasound.  I tell you - these things are AMAZING!  We got to count fingers and toes and see her cute little nose!  I think she's going to be a little Samantha.  When we saw the first image of her I said "Look, Samantha - she looks just like you!"  To which Sam replied "I know, Mommy, she has yellow hair too!"  LOL.  I also loved as we got a good foot shot and I announced that she had 5 toes that Samantha chimes in "Mommy, she should have 10"  Well, yeah....she's right of course :)

Worst Moment the past two weeks:   Thankfully, we've had a very uneventful past two weeks so nothing to report here!

Favorite Husband Moment:  Owen FINALLY got to feel her move.  That, and even though he has a tough exterior he's a real softy when it comes to his kids - seeing Morgan's ultrasound pics made even Mr. Macho crack a smile :)

And - by request - here's a REAL belly pic:

Joy, I hope you see this!!!!!
