28 Weeks

Less than 90 days until we meet our sweet baby girl!!!  I am starting to get nervous, anxious, worried - you name it.  I still have so much to do and it seems like time is slipping away from me.  Good news is - Samantha's furniture is being delivered THIS Thursday, so we can get her moved in upstairs and begin to work on transforming the nursery into Morgan's room (but don't tell Samantha, I'm gonna surprise her when she comes home on Thursday by showing her her new big girl room!)

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  20lb = beached whale

Maternity Clothes:  Absolutely, and starting to get a bit snug....

Gender:  Another beautiful baby girl!!!  Miss Morgan Elizabeth

Movement:   Oh yes, especially when I eat peanut butter - she LOVES peanut butter.

Sleep:  Yes, but it's sporadic sometimes.  I had the weirdest dream the other night and I don't know where I had gone but I got somewhere and I had left stuff at home - the dream seemed SO real and I woke up with a jolt and had a hard time going back to sleep.  Hence, I fell asleep in the recliner last night.  It's my new cat napping spot.

What I Miss:  Being able to bend over and pick things up with ease...

Symptoms:  I went and treated myself to a mani/pedi on Saturday and my nail lady informed me that my feet are swollen - sure enough, upon inspection, they are starting to swell at the bottom around the ankles.  Just lovely.

Best Moment(s) the past two weeks:  I guess this would probably classify as the best and worst moment the past two weeks.  Last Monday, we wound up at L&D.  Before you guys get mad at me for not mentioning it, I didn't even tell my own mother....so if she happens to read this she will be upset with me - sorry Mom!  I hadn't felt good all day, my blood pressure had been up and Morgan just wasn't being her wiggly self.  I let it ride for most of the day but finally around 3pm I called my doctor and they told me to go to L&D to get checked out.  My sister took care of Samantha (thanks Aunt Kimmie!) and Owen and I headed over there.  She was still the WHOLE way there, even while we were sitting in the waiting room waiting to be taken back, but as soon as we got back to the assessment room and they got me hooked up on a monitor, she went ballistic.  The nurse told me that happens sometimes - they don't like being on the monitor.  So, I scolded her for the first time and told her that if she had behaved to begin with, we wouldn't have had to go to the hospital :)  Thankfully, she is doing just fine and after lying in the bed for about an hour and listening to her heart beat, my blood pressure came down and they let me go home.

Worst Moment the past two weeks:   See above

Favorite Husband Moment:     Poor Owen - he hasn't felt this baby move YET.  Every time we are sitting there and I grab for his hand, she stops moving.  Owen says "She's defiant already - just great."  LOL.

And finally - the promised belly pic.  I took this in my bathroom this morning (you can see my almost finished bathroom in the background - all we gotta do is change out the faucet on the bathtub and it will officially be done!) - it's a self pic so not the best quality but I promised you guys a pic, so here it is:

I call this my big top maternity shirt - because I feel like a circus tent wearing it - but you know what??  It fits...for now :)
