Big Girl Furniture

I got to thinking the other day of ALL the things we needed to get done before Morgan's big arrival, and the thought was just overwhelming!!!  Not only do we need to do stuff directly related to her being born, but we also need to do some other things at the house that we KNOW will fall by the wayside once our family of 3 becomes a family of 4.

In addition to finishing the bathroom (YES, we are almost done!  Just need the finishing touches mounted!), we need to finish Samantha's bedroom and get her moved upstairs and "adjusted" to being in a new room.  I know this is going to present its challenges.  Anytime we go out of town she tends to wake up in the middle of the night and if she doesn't recognize where she is, she freaks out.  This happened while we were at the lake and I fully anticipate it happening for the first few days in her new room.  Which is why it's especially important that we get this thing finished soon so she can move in and have time to adjust to it.  Thanks to the "painting fairies", the room has been completely painted and is now just waiting on furniture.

Well, we can strike that item OFF our to do list, because we ordered her furniture last night!!!

What do you guys think:

This is the Cottage Collection from Vaughan-Bassett and we LOVE it.  It's shown here in a creamy white finish - we ordered hers in the snow white finish.  We bought her the twin bed, and also sprung for a trundle unit so we would have extra sleep space; the nightstand; and a dresser with mirror (NOT the dresser shown here, one that's a bit taller and has more drawer space, but you get the jist).  We took her with us when we ordered it and she is beyond excited about her big girl furniture.  We should have it in about 2 weeks, just in time to get her moved in by my goal, which was the end of August!

Ah, the perks to being a big sister :)  She's gonna look SO cute in this room, I can't wait to post the final pics!!!
